Update June 2020: Measures Taken To Prevent The Spread Of Covid-19 in Albania

Order no. 351 dated 29.05.2020 “On Taking Special Measures and Restrictions to Prevent the Spread of Covid-19”
Movement across the country is allowed for all categories (pedestrians, bicycles, mopeds and vehicles) without time restrictions.
All the activities of the nomenclature of economic activities are allowed to carry out their activity, respecting the safety protocols and the approved rules for social distancing and hygienic-sanitary measures.
An exception to the rule defined in point 2 of this order is made for the following activities:

Night clubs
Cultural activities, theaters, cinemas
The swimming pool
Mass gatherings in closed or open places, conferences, gatherings, wedding ceremonies and non-familial arrangements of funeral ceremonies are prohibited until further notice.

• Vocational, educational and entertainment training courses, children’s playgrounds in open spaces, gyms, internet centers are opened, according to approved protocols and approved rules for social distancing and hygienic-sanitary measures, starting from

• It is allowed to conduct personnel employment courses, education and specialization competitions starting from
01.06.2020
according to approved protocols and approved rules for social distancing and hygienic-sanitary measures.
• Beaches are opened only for accommodation structures from date
01.06.2020
• Public beaches will open on the date

, respecting the approved protocols and rules for social distancing and hygienic-sanitary measures.
• It is allowed to move with means of transport for travelers entering and exiting land border crossing points. Persons who will enter the territory of the Republic of Albania at land border points
they will not have the obligation of self-quarantine for 14 days
, with the exception of special cases, which will be determined by order of the health authorities.
Public transportation of city, intercity and suburban passengers is prohibited until further notice.
